WESTON – Hundreds of people participated in an “Active Shooter” training exercise Friday morning at Cypress Bay High School during which law enforcement, fire rescue and school officials learned to work together minimize the threat of two “gunmen” who entered the school, firing shots and planting bombs. The Broward Sheriff’s Office SWAT
team, Fire Rescue, bomb squad, school resource deputies and dispatchers all participated.
