The importance of being prepared for a hurricane

John Gerard, NBC 6 meteorologist, spoke Thursday about the importance of being prepared for a hurricane to a group of seniors at Broward Health Weston. About 20 people attended the speech during a regular monthly meeting of the SALT (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) group. Gerard spoke for more than an hour on the importance of being personally prepared for a hurricane.
